Amber Heard says therapy notes ruled inadmissible at trial detail abuse from Johnny Depp
Amber Heard is talking regarding the verdict pronounced by Johnny Depp's favor in their defamation suit.
Heard appeared on the show on NBC's Savannah Guthrie in her first interview after the trial concluded earlier in the month.
Their interview was broadcast on Friday on an episode special on "Dateline." "Dateline," the "Aquaman" star tells Guthrie,
Heard says Guthrie notes from therapy sessions from years ago describe her abuse by Depp But these notes were not accepted as evidence.
Guthrie states that "Dateline" reviewed the notes and states that they reveal there was a January 2011 incident.
"In 2013, the therapist's notes say he threw her against a wall and threatened to kill her," Guthrie adds.
Whatever the outcome, Heard was unwavering in her conviction of "speaking truth to power." She says to Guthrie, "To my dying day, I will stand by my testimony."
